František Jungvirt × IVANA MENTLOVÁ

The collaboration between Ivana Mentlová and František Jungvirt is rooted in a shared mindset, a common approach to artistic creation, and a deep respect for exceptional craftsmanship. They are also connected by their international reach and success abroad.

Their joint collection features three elegant, hand-blown and hand-cut glass forms that explore minimalism and earthy color tones. Each vase is individually hand-blown into a wooden mold by master glassmakers in a glassworks in Northern Bohemia. Rare metal hues tint the glass in unique earthy shades, reflecting the richness and tradition of their homeland.

Elegant lines are a defining feature of František’s work. Ivana, with her refined sense of proportion and color, selected a unique palette for these objects designed by František—one that echoes the materials she commonly works with, such as leather and suede. This influence is also reflected in the surface treatment of some of the glass vases, which are matte-finished using sandblasting techniques to mimic these textures.

The lightness, effortless aesthetic, and exceptional craftsmanship of each glass piece elevate them to collectible objects, intended for extraordinary spaces. Available in two vase sizes and a diffuser, the collection fits seamlessly into purist interiors, where it enhances the beauty of simplicity and detail through a delicate interplay of form, light, and earthy tones.
